Her call put forth on the English Companion Ning for 101 English teachers to start or share blogs about teaching inspired me and many others to participate.
About Me
I am a high school English teacher in Los Angeles with many years' experience. I am currently teaching tweflth graders writing, literature, reading, and thinking with an emphasis on preparing them for certain skills they will need next year in college: framing topics for and writing five-page essays, participating effectively in college discussion sections, and dealing with college reading demands.
